Getting started

Two ladies at church were talking about Extreme Couponing one day, so I DV-rd it. After a few weeks I finally watched it. I can NOT believe the amount of groceries that they get or on the amount that they spend! So now I’m on day three of getting myself organized, lol!
So while I watched I took notes on different things that different people did that seemed to work for them. Then I made a list of websites for every product I could think of in our house. I went through cabinets, bathrooms, and the fridge writing down websites so I could check to see if they have any manufacturer coupons on those sites. Next I went online to do a little more research. Couponmom.com seems to be a very helpful website, coupon search engine, as I call it. I signed up to get emails and coupon updates, I registered my CVS and Brookshire’s shopping cards for more discounts, I learned that Brooshires takes an additional .05 cent off for every reusable shopping bag you bring in. I have checked and copied coupon policies for all my favorite stores. Last I sat down with the information I have compiled, the coupons, store ads and any email updates that I have been sent.
Now it’s time to make sense of it all! Wish me luck!!
