I drive my husband crazy with the recycling/reusing. I have four trash cans in the house, one for regular trash, one for paper, one for cardboard and one for aluminum. The cardboard one has gotten out of hand and needs to get dropped off, but the others are easier to keep up with. I wash Ziploc bags and plastic water bottles (I refill them from the Britta pitcher in the fridge). Shane says there is something about water that comes out of that filter; he thinks it is some of the best water he’s ever tasted!
I came across a pen the other day in Wal-mart made by Pilot. It is the B2p Gel Roller pen. B2P stands for bottle to pen! I love it! The pen itself kinda looks like a water bottle. Water bottles are collected and shredded, melted into pellets and then made into the pens. Scraps are then recycled. The pen is refillable too. I love the way it writes.
